Anthony has spent his lifetime perfecting his skills and pursuing his passion for physical fitness and self defense. Anthony has received formal training in several disciplines. His striking and blocking techniques come from his background in boxing and Muay Thai fighting. His joint manipulation and pressure point expertise comes from his training in Jiu-Jitsu. Anthony's escape tactics and choke defenses come from his experience as a wrestler. Anthony recently achieved one of his life goals of becoming a Law Enforcement Officer. This has allowed Anthony to further his self defense training to include disciplines such as weapon retention and situational awareness.
Anthony attributes his skills as a self-defense instructor, to his time spent training at multiple gyms and facilities in several disciplines. Anthony believes that no one particular discipline can protect you in every situation. By training with the best instructors in the area in their respective discipline, Anthony has become a respected mixed martial artist.

Anthony is very approachable as an instructor and demands a low student to instructor ratio so that he gives the most direct attention to his students. Anthony structures his course in that he only teaches 3-4 techniques per class so that he has the most time available with his students to practice and perfect the skills taught. Anthony focuses his classes on life saving defense. While he believes physical fitness is important and his classes will get the heart rate up, he prefers to focuses on the techniques. Anthony says, "I don't train my students until they get the technique right, we train until you cannot get it wrong." Anthony believes that because if this repetitious training, during a stressful life threatening situation, you will instinctively revert to the training you have received.
