Close Quarters Combat - Fighting to Win
A physically engaging course that covers multiple disciplines that are crucial in winning a physical attack. This class covers survival mindset, striking and blocking, ground defense, clinch fighting, edged and blunt weapon defense and firearm employment during physical combat. Train with our instructors and see difference between surviving an encounter and winning the fight. In a fight for your life, surviving is not enough. Surviving leaves you mentally scarred, physically disabled, or worse. Surviving by itself is unacceptable, we will train you to fight to win.
Course Description:
This course is for the person that is serious about their personal self defense. We cover our priority system during Close Quarters Combat (CQC) of A.B.C.D. We identify the base physical and mental skills needed to win a physical encounter and then validates the training using student on instructor and student on student practical exercises. We will teach the techniques in a low stress environment so that each student has a solid base of the fundamentals. Throughout the training, we will progress to faster paced, more realistic fighting scenarios. Think carrying a firearm will protect you against an armed attacker. Using our realistic firearms simulators will put that to the test. What makes this course different then other self defense systems? This is real world scenarios in a controlled environment. In real life attacks there are rules. There is no fight clock, referee or tap out to stop the fight.
This course covers drawing a pistol as it relates to CQC. Pistol proficiency is not required to attend this course. We merely use its employment as a means to address some common misconceptions regarding pistol use in contact situations.
This course is physical in nature. Consult your physician before engaging in any physical activity.
